This blog was created for one purpose only, and that is to harness the power of God through prayer to help my unborn child make it safely into this world. I am hoping you have come to this site because you know me or my wife, or because someone who knows us has told you about it. Let me quickly tell you what is going on and what I am asking from you.
My wife is due to give birth September 29, 2010. On Monday May 24 my wife was bleeding so we went to the hospital. The doctors discovered she was dilating at only 21 weeks. Now the protective sack that our child lives in is outside of the cervix. This means there is a risk it could break and the baby will come early. The earlier he comes, the more of a chance he may not survive, or could have health issues. We are not claiming that. What we are claiming is a full-term pregnancy. We are praying that if God decides our child will come early, that he will survive and grow healthy and strong.
My request is for prayer. I am asking that you post a comment below this blog and click the poll above it. I want to keep track of each prayer so I am asking you only post once and click the poll once. I believe we can get 1000 people to pray. I don't know why the number 1000 came to me but I believe it's possible. If we have 1000 people sincerely praying for our son, how can we lose? His name is Aiden Lucas Cohen. It can be a short or a long prayer. If you're not sure what to pray, you can put the Lord's prayer, Matthew 6:9-13. I thank you and bless you for helping us. We have faith that one day we will hold our healthy baby boy, whether he comes in September or comes tomorrow. Again, thank you and God bless you!

Lord God I pray that you keep my son Aiden Lucas Cohen. You said in Your word that if I stay joined to You and Your words remain in me, I may ask any request and it will be granted to me! Most High God I am asking that you protect my son so that no matter when he is born, he will be safe, healthy and strong. I pray that You keep my wife Tanisha Cohen in perfect health as well. Keep them both so that they will not harm each other but strengthen each other in their union. We know and have faith in the power You have over our lives. Lord we are asking that you may keep Aiden safe inside of me until he is able to fully function on his own. I know that we are taking it one day at a time and that the doctors want us to make it to 24 weeks. I am asking you right now in the precious name of Jesus that you will keep Aiden in my womb safe and sound for the full 40 weeks. NOTHING is impossible for you Lord. NOTHING. I praise you right now Lord and lift up your name I glorify you Lord right now because I know that you have already healed this family, you have already blessed this baby, you have already spoken and it shall be so. Your word says in John 16:24 "And to now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive and your joy will be complete." ReplyDeleteAs I sit here beginning to write a prayer I must admit I have stopped praying and started to praise God in advance for all he is doing. I know the Lord has already delivered this baby bot healthy into his mother and fathers arms at an appointed time of health. The devil is a liar and we are not moved by his scare tactics. I praise God as I see a baby who has not been born bring unity in family, bring faith to his parents that they did not know nor did they believe they could have, bringing miracles to the lives of those who thought although the miracle worker lives he is not living for me...This baby is doing all of this and has not come out of the womb yet, he may be excited about what the Lord will do with him when he blesses us with his presence in this earth. But I say to him peace be still the Lord will have you to come in due season, in due time, you will be mighty in the works and favor of the Lord and even as no weapon formed against you can prosper now niether will it when you are born. Hallelujah, Glory to God is so amazingly awesome and magnificent and I praise him for his mighty acts. Because God is the Greatedt Power, we cannot be defeated. The lord works in mysterious ways.. who knows why God is making this come about? What I do know is that prayer changes things.
