Hello everyone. As much as God has blessed our family and Aiden He is not finished with strengthening us and building our testimony. Aiden is back in the hospital after 1 1/2 joyous months of being home with us. He has been having trouble breathing and recently has had several episodes of his heart rate dropping too low or having apnea where he stops breathing all together. Prayer has worked so well so far in Aiden's life that we will not stop asking for it. Please pray for him that his lungs, heart and brain strengthen, pray for the doctors that they figure out the cause for his episodes, pray for peace of mind for myself and my wife, and any other prayer that God places in your heart. We thank you all so much for the love and of course the prayers.

A new son
I want to thank every single person who came on this site and said or posted a prayer for us. I want to let everyone know that our son was born 6/10/10 at 11:58 a.m. at 24 weeks and 1 day. He is in intensive care and holding on strong. Please continue to pray for his strength and health to get better and better, but know that God has already shown and proven himself beyond measure in our son's life. This will be a powerful testimony not only for us, but for the ultimate power of prayer through God's faithful. Thank you all again and we love you!

The Ultimate Power of God's Prayer

This blog was created for one purpose only, and that is to harness the power of God through prayer to help my unborn child make it safely into this world. I am hoping you have come to this site because you know me or my wife, or because someone who knows us has told you about it. Let me quickly tell you what is going on and what I am asking from you.
My wife is due to give birth September 29, 2010. On Monday May 24 my wife was bleeding so we went to the hospital. The doctors discovered she was dilating at only 21 weeks. Now the protective sack that our child lives in is outside of the cervix. This means there is a risk it could break and the baby will come early. The earlier he comes, the more of a chance he may not survive, or could have health issues. We are not claiming that. What we are claiming is a full-term pregnancy. We are praying that if God decides our child will come early, that he will survive and grow healthy and strong.
My request is for prayer. I am asking that you post a comment below this blog and click the poll above it. I want to keep track of each prayer so I am asking you only post once and click the poll once. I believe we can get 1000 people to pray. I don't know why the number 1000 came to me but I believe it's possible. If we have 1000 people sincerely praying for our son, how can we lose? His name is Aiden Lucas Cohen. It can be a short or a long prayer. If you're not sure what to pray, you can put the Lord's prayer, Matthew 6:9-13. I thank you and bless you for helping us.
